ANTENN 2019 - a festival weekend of playful sound experiences in Gnesta's old water tower on 7-8 September (during the Gnesta Konstrunda). This year, we pay special tribute to Lars-Gunnar Bodin, a living legend in electro-acoustic music - and the magic instrument theremin, which celebrates 100 years!
ANTENN 2019 opens the water tower's unique sound environment for acoustic meetings with the theme of listening, sounding, playing, co-creating. The festival offers an extensive concert program and exciting workshops in a wide range of genres; from voice and body percussion to folk and improvisational music and electronic / experimental sound art. The very youngest are invited to baby-toning, while slightly older children and young people can try sound painting, build their own theremin or create a sound piece together with The Great Learning Orchestra. People of all ages and with all kinds of functional variations can collaborate musically with the tactile resonance instruments built by SymbioLab in collaboration with LSS centers.
ANTENN 2019 will also be broadcast over web radio and via sound nodes at various locations in the county, in collaboration with Sörmlands Museum.
